location, location, location?
With the exception of newborn sessions, all of the pictures are taken outside, either at a park or an urban location. It just depends on your particular session. Suggestions of any locations are always welcomed!
What time is best for taking portraits?
For outdoor sessions, it has to either be early morning or right before the sun goes down. For sessions held indoors, the best time is late morning to early afternoon.
What to wear?
Clothing is essential to having a succesful portrait session. Layers and textures are great, as well any bright solid colors. Simple always works best so avoid any graphics, logos, stripes and defintely no patterns as they can cause a distraction. Another thing to keep in mind is to always make sure to coordinate colors, think complimenting colors. No athletic shoes please!
Hats, scarves, headbands can help add color pop. Accessories are always recommended, especially for children. Bring tutus and anything that help express your child's personality.
For newborn sessions, have a couple of outfits and accessories ready but for the most part I will be providing all the props needed. If you would like to take pictures with your newborn have an all black, short sleeve shirt ready.
Payments?
Payments should be made via cash or personal check to Stephanie Colindres. You can also make the payment via credit card through Paypal. The payment needs to be received before the date of the session, as well as, before the order gets placed for the photographs.
